It is a fact that we have a big clan. Just looking at my grandmother's  generation, I have counted she has more than 50 cousins. I would moderately estimate my mother's second cousins would number at between 200  and I would have more than a thousand third cousins.   This shows that our grandparents are very very productive. The eldest children may have gotten married and there are a still sibblings being born.   It was a mystery to me when I was a small boy in Binabaan to hear an older relative calling a very young man as Iyay or Iyoy ha ha.   It took a long time before I knew what was going on.

Simeon Limoso was born as  TEODORO LEYRITA  ( kaya nga cousins natin sila Manang Ming Leyrita and Imelda Leyrita - Lopez).  Teodoro Leyrita changed his name to Simeon Limoso because he was pursued by the authorities for leading an attack against the Spaniards.  This story is featured in the official website of the Municipality of Lambunao (www.lambunao.gov.ph )   and excerps were posted in our google group.  Please CLICK HERE to read it  Re Lola Tomasa and Lola Emilia :  According to Tatay Dolfo Limoso (from the branch of Anastacio Limoso) ,  Ulang Tomasa died, and Lolo Simeon got married again to Ulang Iya (Emilia Lanceta) who was the mother of Lolo Ben, Lola Soleng and Lolo Dadoy. YEHEYYYY - It's confirmed : Si Señor Edes (Praxedes Limoso) is coming to Manila to spend the Christmas season with us and of course to attend the reunion!!!!  To JING (Tabuena) and LALAINE (Larete):  ti tani if Auntie (Rester Restituta Limoso) and Auntie Neneng (Margarita Limoso-Baladjay) can come on the 29th, we will also convince Tay Viliong (Virgilio Limoso) to come so all the living children of Anastacio can be present on the reunion.  PLEASE!  I am sure the "olds" are eager to join this affair.   Ang pleadings ko is: Let us not postpone this chance of them getting together as next year is another 365 days and altho the 365 days may be a short time for us but not for them.     To Nene Rara , -  We will miss you and your family but  I know  that you are very busy with Auntie Nesing's (Elisa Bidaure Limoso) high school reunion on the 29th. kaya pwede pass muna kamo.  Next year we hope we can organize it much earlier so everyone can come. Re Simeon Limoso, the hero - Si Rara (Razel Limoso Ramirez) gali nagsulat sadto - basta ginkopya ko lang.  I am compiling several stories that we can add in our website.   For now - I have some stories from Tatay Dolfo (Adolfo Limoso) :  stories like  Auntie Ecen (Presentacion Limoso Leagogo) Tirador being the most beautiful lass in Binabaan . . .and how she was wooed by Tatay Edion ".  I have not posted it yet as I need to verify with Nong Junior the facts.
