We currently have several opportunities to make some real progress in our fight against artificial water fluoridation.
First, we are getting close to reaching the next milestone of 4000 Professionals signing our Professionals' Statement Calling for an End to Water Fluoridation!
Would you help us reach this goal?
As a Professional your support carries considerable weight in the eyes of government as well as the public. While the proponents of artificial water fluoridation continue to rely on endorsements, we are striving to educate the public with actual science. Professionals' signatures on this Statement send a clear message that there is indeed credible scientific evidence of harm from fluoridation.
If you have not yet signed the Professionals' Statement, would you please consider doing so now? Please also consider sending this link to any colleagues who have not yet been educated on this important issue.
Another action would take your voice straight to the top. We have the unprecedented opportunity to request that President Obama end all federal involvement in the promotion, endorsement, and funding for fluoridation of the public's drinking water.
If we can collect 5,000 signatures by October 26, White House staff will review this petition, ensure that it is sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response.

3) A blue box should pop up on your screen. If it does not, check to see that you don't have a pop-up blocker enabled.
4) Enter the information requested (First/Last Name, Email Address, Zip Code); type in the 2 words at the bottom, with a space in between.

Two major resources have been updated by Dr. Connett and the FAN team to help educate local decision-makers, fellow citizens, and health professionals. The first and most basic resource is the " Top 10 Arguments Against Fluoridation". The second is the more detailed " 50 Reasons to End Fluoridation" , which also contains updated citations to the best studies and sources.
For a more personal view of the unacceptability of fluoridation please watch 15 scientists discuss this issue in the 28-minute video " Professional Perspectives on Fluoridation," produced by FAN in 2009. And for the most up-to-date and thorough resource on the dangers of fluoridation, there is the new book " The Case Against Fluoride", co-authored by FAN Director Paul Connett, PhD, James Beck, MD, PhD, and H.S. Micklem, PhD.
