Good morning!

Some of you know that we hosted a TIME Int. team for the past 10 days. It was a great experience for our ministry. We saw several people making decisions.

After I took the team to the airport a receive a phone call from a high school class mate of mine, Alvaro.  His voice was broken and he started to tell me that "something pushed him to call me".  He continue to tell me that his 19 year old daughter has been hanging out with the wrong people and that a month ago she was founded inside of a car that was set on fire. The situation was drug related, she was with her boyfriend, one of the drug lords from Montevideo and a well known soccer fan leader.  "At this time I cannot start a war with them because I have three other children, but I have my entire life to plan my revenge" he expressed. I listened to him, as I started to pray that the Lord will give me the love and words for that moment. 

Alvaro grew up in the night life, dealing drugs, he had several women working for him, you name it he has done it. Knows the right people for any kind of illegal job that needs to be done, but this is what really impacted me, he told me "20 years ago your dad took us to play soccer at a camp and I always remember you and your brother treating me with respect". When I told him that I am available at any time, and that we were going to start to pray for his family he responded "that is why I called you, because you are in your "thing" and I knew you were going to do that for me". I am waiting on a phone call to set up a meeting today or tomorrow.   Please pray for me and my brother as we talk to Alvaro. 

I know that there will be nothing special we will say that will make him feel better now, but I am praying for the wisdom that we need for a moment such like this.
