Branson - Logan M. Coffer, age 78, of Branson West (formerly of Springfield), entered into the presence of Jesus on Friday, June 24th, at 12:10 AM after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kay), three daughters, Nancy (Mrs. Tim) St. Clair of Branson West, MO, Lisa Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Karen (Mrs. Keith) Moulton of Lyon, France, 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, plus many wonderful friends.

In Springfield, they were members of High Street Baptist Church, where Logan taught the adult Bethel Bible Class and sang with Earl Smith and the Beacon Quartet. He graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1954 and was Treasurer for the BBFI Missions Department for 18 years. Logan served as Music Director for Temple Baptist in Orlando, Florida for 6 years, then served at Indianapolis Baptist Temple. After “retiring” to Branson, Logan worked at Wal-Mart in the Automotive and Photo Departments. He had an enduring love for music and a great heart for soul-winning and missions.

Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 28th at Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO. Services will be held Wednesday, June 29th at Keystone Baptist Church in Reeds Spring, MO at 2 pm with Pastor Jim Cantrell officiating, and interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
