“Do you have any more of those?”
JoAnn and I are in the Pittsburgh airport and we are walking. Our walking schedule has been interrupted since we have been here in the ‘Burgh for a few days. When you reach a certain age you try to do everything that will contribute to good health and there is nothing better than walking.
JoAnn spied some Sarris chocolate pretzels so we veered off our walking course to buy the pretzels. I almost always carry a supply of gospel tracts, so after I paid I gave one to the person working the cash register. “Have you ever seen anything like this before.“ “No…,” he answered. I replied,”The Bible is a hard book to understand but the person who wrote this article chose some important verses in the Bible that show how we can have a good connection with God on a personal basis.” He thanked me.
I heard a voice behind me, “Do you have any more of those?” “I sure do,” I said as I gave him two. Again I said, “The Bible is a hard book to understand…” He wanted the article for that reason. He responded, “I’m from Frisco, Texas (The Colony) on my way to Philadelphia for a meeting. We had the greatest talk about the heat and traffic in Texas and the cool weather here. I explained to him what kind of Babe he should purchase to help him on his journey. He genuinely thanked us.
You never know when someone is listening over your shoulder as you talk about the things of the Lord.
Only God can do these things.
