Good afternoon, Puzzlers of Boston,

Happy September! We hope everyone's enjoying the last few weeks of Summer. But as we look ahead, we, the FABULOUS Fleens? YOU'RE Not Fleens! are thrilled to formally announce BAPHL 25, coming to a neighborhood near you Saturday, October 11th from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM! (Don't worry, we checked--sunset is 6:08 PM that day, so there'll be plenty of time to solve puzzles all day long).

We recognize that, since October 11th is the same weekend as both Indigenous Peoples' Day and HONK!, not everyone may be able to make BAPHL. On that note, we'd love to extend an invitation to any teams or individuals who'd like to do an "official" test solve of the full hunt before the hunt itself! We can either share a ZIP file of the necessary documents or sign you up for a "dry run" that we'll be doing on a weekend toward the end of September. If you'd be interested in participating as a test solver for either a remote solve or the dry run, please reply to this e-mail directly.

We're currently working with the organizers of BAPHL 24 to update the BAPHL website, so in the meantime, here are other key details for the days ahead:
Registration Opens: Wednesday, September 17th, 5:00 PM
Cost: $40 per team
Team Size: 2-6 players
Area: Downtown Boston, specifically around the Fenway Victory Gardens (where kickoff will take place)

And because our team is, speaking frankly, QUITE theatrical, we're going to inform you all now that the theme will be...superheroes! Specifically, you'll be applying for membership to the Baystate Alternatively-Powered Human Legion. We highly, highly encourage and recommend dressing up thematically.

That's all for now. Expect more details in the days ahead--until then, keep your pencils sharp and your wits sharper. The game's afoot!

Puzzlingly,
Christian Krenek, Fleenior (Fleen Senior)
