Happy Easter everyone 🐣
So, my husband and I, both expats living in Australia are travelling to England and Scotland for a holiday in month of May, my question is apart from the Two Together rail card is there any other concessions available for pensioners on buses and underground? I will notify the necessary to have our pensions uprated for the duration as we have done in the past with no problems. Many thanks in advance for helpful tips.
Regards
Elizabeth

Hi. Discount with TFL is available for seniors living in London. Various UK coach companies will give you seniors discount. However look up their respective websites. Often cheaper to purchase via their app than getting a senior ticket. EG. Last time I used the Oxford tube ( Direct bus from London to Oxford) it cost five pounds via the app. But twelve pounds for a senior single. So pays to check. You can get a senior rail pass though for UK train travel. Worthwhile if using the train service. Not valid for N Ireland though.

Thank you Annie, but don’t you need to show proof of residence in whatever borough you are applying too 🤷🏼‍♀️

What do you mean ‘borough’?
The services I have recommended are National services. Just use the websites.
I assume you are talking about local bus services within a council jurisdiction. I do not know about local bus services.
