We thought you might be interested in the response received when the following question was put into Co-Pilot:

“How to Influence the British Government to end its frozen pensions policy”

Response:

If you're looking to influence the British government to end its frozen pensions policy, here are some steps you can take:

- Join advocacy groups: Organizations like British Pensions in Australia actively campaign against the policy and provide resources for lobbying efforts.

- Engage with Parliament: The issue has been raised in parliamentary committees, such as the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee. Writing to MPs and Lords who have spoken on the matter can help push for change.

- Sign petitions: Public petitions have been effective in raising awareness. For example, over 20,000 people signed a petition calling for an end to frozen pensions.

- Raise awareness: Sharing stories of affected pensioners and the financial hardships they face can help build public support.

- Contact policymakers: Writing directly to government officials and departments responsible for pensions can ensure the issue remains on their agenda.

Not a great benefit but at least it recognises that action is being taken to raise the problems of the Frozen Pension policy of the UK government.
