Hi Everyone!
Those of you who've been around for a long time, or have had some contact with BPiA, may remember Jim Tilley.
Jim has done a significant amount of work to try and get our pensions unfrozen, but unfortunately is now gravely ill. He said last month that he probably only had 12 months to live https://www.facebook.com/groups/1503078969991456/permalink/2564827400483269/ but it now looks like things are progressing far more quickly than that.

JIM TILLEY
Jim is our founder and the person who is more responsible than anyone else for British Pensions in Australia (BPiA) is gravely ill. He is the person who has driven our campaign over the years, and we should all be very grateful for what he has done for us.
He has been moved into a care facility and it would be a generous gesture if members could show their appreciation of the work that Jim has done on our behalf by sending a greetings card wishing him well. BPiA has sent flowers on behalf of all members.
His family ask that, if you know his personal telephone number or his personal email address, please do NOT try to contact him directly. His daughter has his mobile phone and will not answer it if it is not someone she knows personally.
Jim is in Meadowbank Grove Care Community, 8 Sherbrooke Road, West Ryde NSW 2114.
