Opportunity for people in Sydney

Hi Everyone!

As part of the End Frozen Pensions campaign, BPiA has arranged for some
film school students to interview a few frozen pensioners and then
prepare some short videos that will be used as a part of the campaign.

Is anyone interested in participating?

The interview will take 20 - 30 minutes with a bit of set up time before
and after.  The students will come to you, so there is no travel
required.  However, you will need to be in Sydney to participate.  The
video that will be prepared will be 2 - 3 minutes long.

There aren't any dates for the interviews yet, but I'm guessing that
they will be done over the next few weeks.

Please let me know if you are interested and I'll put you in touch with
BPiA.

Sorry  in Adelaide  but hope it all goes well. Be good to get omput from  the people they are dismissing as proper  UK pensioners  just because we life in a Commonwealth  country.More reason for support. Cheers Andra

Hi from Brisbane,

These stories are really important to highlight the justice of the claim for equal pensions by British Pensioners in Australia and elsewhere with Frozen Pensions.

For example a soldier who served in the Falklands war who then married a Falklands woman and went there to live now has his pension frozen.  Is this fair, is this how the UK treats it's ex servicemen and women?  Stories like this will help to win support for the cause of people suffering from Frozen Pensions.  Many people who come to Australia come because of family ties, not because they no longer want to live in the UK.  

So if you want to support BPiA contact Paul who can put you in touch to share your story.
