Training Opportunity - GetUp! Learn to Campaign in 90 minutes course

Hi Everyone!

If you've ever wanted to learn how to campaign so that you can work more effectively to get our pensions unfrozen, this GetUp! campaigning course might be for you.

The course will cover:

• What makes a good campaign
• The art of crafting a compelling petition
• Growing your supporter base in your area and beyond
• Why, when, and how to email your supporters
• Building pressure by organising events, like protests or a petition delivery
• Making the media your best friend
• Meeting with your decision maker

The course will be run online using Zoom, so you can attend from home and don't need to go anywhere.

The course is on Tuesday 29 June at 7-8.30pm (TAS, VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD), 5-6.30pm (WA), 6.30-8pm (SA, NT).
