As you are now visiting Thailand can you take up the issue of UK pensions unfairly frozen in Thailand. This is an injustice that has never been rectified.
Pensioners in Thailand continue to pay full UK tax and are not a burden on the Government Finances for housing and health. Topping up Thailands UK expat pensions takes a minute slice of the State Pension Fund.
The UK managed to negotiate a reciprocal tax agreement with Thailand but forgot to include pensions.
Grateful for any help you can give.
The Ambassador is fully briefed and aware of the problem.

Nice one Chris. Well done. I don’t suppose you know if she’s coming to Australia do you?
