All along my pension account in Canara Bank is individual and of late, I have got it
converted into Joint account with my spouse name.I have submitted afresh Joint S.B.appln,
Specimen signature card/s,KYC forms,
afresh for me and for my wife along with photos,aadhar cards,and Pan cards.
I also closed my earlier Joint account with my wife on the advice of the branch to have
only one customer id. NOW, the joint account appears as below in the computer screen
of the branch as follows:-
Customer ID : xxxxxxx409
Customer Name: .......... .Murthi
Customer address: H.No. , ...nagar,
Hyderabad
Nominee Ref Num
Nominee Name

Account Title: Murthi
Joint Holder's/Authorised Person's name:1. s.saraswathi

From the above, though the account is made joint , the account name primafacie shows
only one name instead of earlier times showing as Joint 1. ..... 2. ........
Also the computer screen of my net banking account shows the account without the
name of my wife. and further the net banking shows relationship: single
the Branch has informed me Canara Bank soft ware does not show the joint name in
the screen of the customer's net banking account.
I request the views of canara Bank colleagues in the subject for clarity.
