Subject: Sub: Bank pensioners retired before 31.10.2002 are denied benefits

Dear Madam Finance minister,

  Hearty Congrats! on assuming the responsibilities of finance ministry.

the follg are grievances of Bank retirees submitted to you for your urgent 

action.

1)To meet the cost of inflation ,periodical revision is made at interval of 

six months for bank retirees @100%.but this 100%DA is tapered to a group of bank

pensioners retired before 31.10.2002,causing inconvenience to senior citizens who

are in the fag end of their lives.these retirees are helpless.Bank Pension funds

are swelling with  thousands and thousands crores of funds.While other

Bank retirees are enjoying 100%DA.,this group of retirees retired before 31.10.2002

are denied full benefit.100%DA is  yet to be neutralised.

 Madam Finance Minister , the grievance is genuine , the subject retirees are

finding it difficult to make both ends meet.

2)the Bank pension settlements are on the lines of RBI,and Central Government.

When RBI gave 100% DA to its retirees, and gave Updation of Pension to its

retirees, the same to be extended to bank pensioners.

3)Family pension is yet to be increased from 15% to 30%.It is pending for a long

time.

save the lives of Bank Retirees,senior citizens of BHARAT,
