I just started playing B&S a few days ago, and have been enjoying the Assassin. I have a few of the combos down, but I feel there are some that i'm not doing correctly. Is there combo training in the game once Hajoon is done? Or can anyone recommend a good guide to help learn combos correctly.
One good tip Teldo gives is to use a lower tier weapon to practice with. Since everything scales off your weapon, you can use low-risk mobs as training dummies. Assassins are a lot less forgiving of mistakes than other classes I've, so practicing is a good idea.
Just started a assassin the other day enjoying the fact it's a 2-3 hit killer in PVE my big thing though (been searching forums and BNS tree for skill builds in infinite stealth) is there a way to go stealth before the combat even begins? I've seen some do it when I'm on my FM they just poof. I've looked in the tree (I may of missed it hence why I'm asking) so is there a skill we build into to go right into stealth without having to use 1 or decoy? Is it smoke smoke screen?
This combo is HARD to achieve (at least for me), you have to bait all the ennemy escape in order to do hight damage. This combo is virtually infinite, you can repeat it as long as your ennemy can't escape.
Where do I even start? First of all, I appreciated Celaena and Sam so much more in this book since we dive deeper into their minds and receive so much more backstory of what they had endured and I found it to be an amazing collection of stories to accompany the original series. There were moments where I found myself relating to Celaena which I found a bit hard to do with the original novels (other than the fact that she loves to read). The small moments where we see her gush over a pair of shoes, music, clothes, perfume and of course food HAHA We always see her to be a fierce and fiery assassin but these small moments really made her seem more human.
Most of the people read Throne of glass first as I started this series late actually I was waiting for the last part Kingdom of Ash which is out now marking the end of this adventure we all fall for.
At first I was real confuse weather I should read Assassin blade or Throne of Glass, so I end up picking Assassin blade and I am glad I read this one first I heard from many people that they wish they had read this one first to have a better understanding with the main lead and the story.
Celaena finally arrives at the Red Desert to spend the summer training with the Mute Master as punishment. While she is there she has to go through a training to redeem a letter from the master before she can return back to the Guild. Even though we are watching Celaena try to get a letter of recommendation for the Mute Master, we also get to see her inner struggle dealing with her own abusive master. We also see her struggling with her feeling towards Sam.
Celaena is back from the desert and ready distract herself from owning up to her feeling. Not just the feelings she has for Sam but towards everything. She decides throwing herself fully into a mission is the best way to do this. Celaena and Sam realize how much they missed each other, and after a few high sexual tension scenes, they realize how much they like each other. Celaena is able to buy both of their freedom, and they want nothing more than to spend the rest of their life together.
Arobynn Hamel is a character that I love to hate. We start off these mini novellas thinking that he saved Celaena and should therefore be liked, but by the end of the last novella, there was not a single character that I have ever hated more than Arobynn.
The twist of a knife. The birth of a legend. Step into the world of the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas with this collection of prequel novellas. Celaena Sardothien is her kingdom's most feared assassin. Though she works for the powerful Assassin's Guild and its scheming master, Arobynn Hamel, she yields to no one and trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam. But when Arobynn dispatches her on missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, Celaena finds herself acting independently of his wishes and questioning her own allegiance. If she hopes to escape Arobynn's clutches, Celaena will have to put her faith in her wits and her blade . . . knowing that if she fails, she'll lose not just a chance at freedom but her life. A prequel to the New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass, this collection of five novellas explores the history of this cunning assassin and her enthralling-and deadly-world. Included in this volume:

An Assassin Blade increases the wielder's attack by 90 points. It can be and sold for 5850 coins and subsequently re-bought for 7800 coins. In Golden Sun, it is one of the prizes that can be won in the Lucky Medal Fountain in Tolbi, and can be equipped by Isaac, Garet, and Ivan. If it is transferred to Golden Sun: The Lost Age, it can be equipped by Felix, Jenna, and Piers.
The Assassin Blade's Unleash attack is Mortal Danger. Mortal Danger is a physical attack that adds 28 damage points, and then modifies the resulting damage by how the user's Venus power compares to the target's Venus resistance. Also, it has a small chance to instantly kill a target, an undeniably powerful effect. Visually, Mortal Danger resembles a normal strike with an image of the Grim Reaper behind the attacker, much like the Condemn Psynergy.
In Dark Dawn, the Assassin Blade is found in a chest in Belinsk's library, accessible by solving a simple bookcase puzzle. It can be equipped by Matthew, Tyrell, Karis, Amiti, Eoleo, and Himi. Due to the revisions to the Unleash system, the Assassin Blade has gained one additional unleash: Critical Move. Critical Move is a non-elemental physical attack that multiples damage by x1.4. Mortal Danger remains the signature unleash, and retains its characteristics from Golden Sun.
The Assassin Blade is the strongest weapon that can be won at the fountain (although its being a Light Blade doesn't help matters for Mia, and one may wish to consider that its unleashed power is Venus-based), and its instant kill effect makes it perhaps the most desirable prize from the Tolbi Spring. It is also the strongest weapon for when it can be obtained. Stronger weapons don't appear until Lunpa, and the Assassin Blade may be used even afterwards considering Mortal Danger's extra effect.
When the Assassin Blade's extra effect occurs, the enemy will turn entirely white upon death (rather than the usual greyscale), and the words "[enemy]'s spirit was drained" will appear. However, a small glitch can occur if the enemy is felled by Mortal Danger due to damage (and not the instant-kill) in that the enemy's image will still show up as completely white despite the KO (and associated text) being entirely normal.
In Dark Dawn, the Assassin's Blade is a powerful weapon when first discovered. Since its Unleashes are now randomly chosen, the chance of instantly felling a target is much smaller. The Assassin Blade's Venus-based Unleash makes Matthew an instant candidate for equipping it. However, the player may wish to let him retain the Grievous Mace collected earlier, as it is a Venus-based pure-element weapon or let him wield the stronger Sword of Dusk. Thus, the Assassin Blade is likely to fall in the hands of Karis or Amiti.
Even after the Adepts gain access to stronger weapons while exploring Morgal, it is still worthwhile to keep the blade in the inventory so that it can be given to Eoleo after he joins the party. The Assassin Blade is an immediate upgrade to the Broad Axe Eoleo starts out with, and is a decent placeholder until the player gains access to stronger weapons. After this, the Assassin Blade will quickly be outclassed by the forgeable weapons and artifacts available and should be sold off.
For example, at the end of this novella we learn that he actually made her think she was assassinating an instigator of the slave trade, when he really had her kill a man who was planning to help free hundreds of slaves, causing her to inadvertently go against everything he stands for. That is so freaking NOT OKAY. It was so satisfying seeing Celaena and Sam finally free themselves from him, even knowing what happens to them afterwards.
I feel like each different Blade Skill benefits a different build type, and so they should get their synergies from there if possible. Blade Fury is great all on its own, of course, but Blade Sentinel is best for melee damage dealers (like kickers) that need a source of aoe damage, and blade shield is best for less-physical characters that want to get some life leech and mana steal while not doing that much physical damage themselves.
Blade Fury should get its synergies from Fire Blast and Shock Web, not Sentinel and Shield. Shock Web especially is rarely used at higher levels, so it would be pretty cool if these two were made to synergize more with each other, making them both more useful and fun as their own build!
