We are overly obsessed about  it much much more than even DFS/IBA.
Shri Soma Shekara has rightly mentioned about it in his recent post.
MOF with a battery of Financial Experts under their command  can find a way out .
Given the need they can make mountains out of Molehills.
Where from did  they find money to completely take over 14 banks in 1969 followed by another 6 in 1980,involving thousands of crores?
They also applied ' Reverse  Gear " doing part divestment  upto 49% making sizable  profit.
( They never showed a sympahetic outlook towards employees reserving part of the huge earning ,in contingency Fund  for their benefit in case of need }
Time has come to do amends by DFS/IBA
As a layman's  suggestion is it possible to increase paid  up capital for needy banks
and also Authorised capital  incase existing  Authorised capital is inadequate,
There are possibly otherways that undersigned is not aware of.
Where there is a will There is a Way
Bible Says "ASK THOU SHALL BE GIVEN"
UFBU please ask.DFS /IBA will give
Best of Luck for All
