Dear friend,
Every one who has completed19 years and 183 days of service is entitled for 5 years additional service. I have already sent a copy of the Supreme Court Judgement which is relevant for this issue. I a am sending this judgement, once again. Please take a print out of this judgement and sending a request to the management requesting them to pay pension by including 5 years of notional service, keeping in view, what is stated in Judgement.
Thanks, a Million.

Sir
I am still confused as I did not get 5 years notional addition after court judgement saying I have completed 19 years 8 months and 20 days from Bank of India from where I took SVRS in jan2001. I am a original pension optee and they took my qualifying service as 20 years for fixing pension in 2001. Canara bank has implemented 5 years notional addition for my friend who has opted for pension now and whose service is 19 years 9 months and who took SVRS in jan 2001. Will somebody clarify sec 29(5) pension act reg this.

Hi
Practically all banks have implemented this notional addition for SVRS 2000 employees and they have received hefty sum as arrears. The only hitch is it is implemented to people who have put in 20 completed years of service.
