Last year I submitted my life certificate successfully through the captioned Jeevan Pramaan Face Application, sitting comfortably  at home. I shall try to submit the same this year too using this application.

I think it is not applicable to the retired bank employees.

Pl clarify whether it works for bank pensioners also

I have downloaded the app. After feeding Aaddhar, mobile and mail id. get scanned your face. It takes some time to capture the face image. Follow the instructions displayed such as, correcting the face angle, looking towards the camera and blinking eyes simultaneously when asked. On success message is delivered and we are now ready for submission of life certificate. Repeat face recognition till success.

Open the app now again and feed Aaddhar, mobile and mail id.  life certificate format get displayed. Fill it and submit. 

I will try this on 1st of Nov.

Only hint is enter your name as displayed in your PPO .so that Bank will recognise you as per their data.

Most of the PS  banks are accepting Life Certificate under Jeevan Pramaan.I too have submitted the LC through that way,during last year.

Pl.check up with your bank's guidelines,while circular is issued.

Before video based LC was introduced in SBI, I tried JP through  post office. Submission was successful in Jeevan Pramaan, but Bank record was not updated. I had to go to the branch and completed the work.  This is my experience.

Retirees also need some walking. In Metros there are branches within 2-3 KM distance. Best option is to submit LC at a nearby branch and obtain acknowledgement.

However there are various options to submit LC online.

 This is applicable for bank pensioners, too. I am a bank pensioner and I submitted my life certificate successfully last year through this app.  .

Very long and difficult process plus you have to buy the Biometric instruments on your own, if you want to do from your own home. Otherwise, you have to go to Service Centre, which are very less spread. Better go to branch instead. 

If want to have fun and spare time, money and energy do it JP. Many banks have synchronized the system integration with JP. Please mind this please

Dear Mr Krishna Mohan,

As per experience, it is a simple process.

Under Jeevan Praman, you need not go for Biometric instrument since Face Application  may capture your photograph and issue digital LC.

Automatically bank will receive the same and approve.

It is left to individual pensioner to choose convenient form of submission of LC in Nov'23

Either physically present in pension paying or any branch of bank, or through door step banking of PO /Video call facility of few banks etc.

you are referring to jeevan praman web. 

I request you to try Jeevan praman face recognition app. This app has displayed my pension details pertaining to canara bank automatically after screening my  face successfully. I did not submit LC yesterday as it is due on 1st Nov. I will try this on 1st of November. To avoid discrepancy in bank data please enter pensioner"s name as it appears in the PPO. No biometric device is required as face recognition is done through mobile camera. This is my opinion. However I will confirm on 1st of Nov.only.

It does not require any device other than your smartphone (interlinked with your registered mobile number and your Aadhaar number and your email ID) to submit a Life Certificate through the Jeevan Pramaan Face app. This app.has a built-in face recognition system which will scan your face and generate your DLC.
