Friends,

I am Anil Kumar, who opted VRS  in 2009 and was denied  pension.  I have gone through the various communications being exchanged in the two groups.  However, I find that there are hardly any active members from PNB fraternity, and hence not aware whether anybody from PNB has filed a case.  In case they did, people like me can also join to further strengthen the fight.

Please react

Dear Mr. Kumar,
You have not mentioned the length of service put in by you in the Bank
and the regulations under which you have sought VRS.You are
fully entitled to pension,if you have rendered a minimum of 10 years
of service in the Bank. Please go through the PNB Pension Regulations
to get all your points clarified.

I had put in 30 years of service in PNB and opted vrs under the banks vrs scheme.
I would like to know if your unit has taken up the matter of 2nnd option to vrs optees through court.  Our hyderabad unit has not taken any such steps.  If u have done so what is the present status.   I understand various other pensioner groups are pursuing the matter through courts, but present status is not known.

Dear Friends,
Mr. Anil,s observations that there are no active members from PNB taking much interest in pensioner friends issues. It is not so.  We people,  do not jump at the shoot of a gun. Every issue is discussed in the light of its history. There are many friends,  like Mr. Prasad, Mr. Perumalji, Mohandasji &  some others, who apart from fighting their own battle, also suggest the way out or give their views on matters of mutual interest.

When you have some problem, please put complete details on the blog.Only then, one can opine,  what can be the solutions in the given facts ,  positive or negative?  You must realize that for every disease, the solution does not lie with the courts. However, if any body likes to move courts, it is his/her sweet will,  to spend money/time and see for many years to wait for results, may not be during ones' life. But,  certainly we do not motivate or even to say provoke  friends to move courts  for some frivolous issues, where we feel,  no good is expected for the friends.
So,  do not be pessimistic in your thinking that there is no body to listen you or help.! Trust in God. We are here to support you, but subject to certain  rules and law of the land.  You may take the counsel of others also, in case you are not satisfied with our views.

Feel easy.
Regards.
