Dear Mr Varma:
Trust this finds you all in good health.

Yes. Central Bank Retirees' Associations have been formed and are functioning
in almost all the States.  I give below the address of Mr D P Gupta whom you may
contact for joining the Association:
Mr D P gupta
61 Harsh Vihar Pitam Pura
Delhi 110 034
T No. 2701 4527/2702 5835

It is an all cadre retirees' association.  Once retired, theres shall be no necessity
to have an Association only for Officers, since the issues are common for both
the General managers and the Clerks and Substaff retired.

I am the General Secretary of Central Bank Retirees' Association, Tamil Nadu.
We issue Identity cards to all our members and the same is well accepted.

Regards
Radhakrishnan

Dear Mr  Balaji:

Thanks for your response.

Our Terminal Benefit Dept. at Central Office, Mumbai are processing
the Pension application forms.  It is expected that payment will be
made by second or third week of this month.  But most of the new
pension optees feel it would be better if the payments are made
by April i.e. next financial year so that they can plan their tax
leisurely.

Mr.Venkateshwara Rao

UFBU should take up the issue of such retirees as there are very few on priority basis.
Such members must collectively organist themselves and approach FM and request him to direct IBA to grant onemore option on humanitarian grounds.
These are only two options available as courts have rejected such request.

UFBU should take up similar cases with Govt as there may very few such cases.
Alternatively such members must organize and take up the issue with FM and request him to direct IBA to grant one more option on humanitarian grounds.

Dear Sri Venkateswara Rao,
There are some more employees like you who missed it narrowly. The option is refused to all those employees simply on technical grounds. It is better to pool up all such officers and represent to AIBRF/UFBU/MOF and fight legally also.Otherwise to get the pension is very difficult in view of anti retiree attitude of IBA and Banks.I remember one such officer went to Mumbai High Court and got favourable verdict.
With Regards,
P B Sarma.
