We are proud of our parent organization. In spite of having no
bargaining powers or weapon in its armory the achievements speak well
of the good work done by AIBRF. We are sure we will achieve more under
its banner, in the days ahead.

Dear executive members of the August AIBRF body,
I pray the Almighty to shower His choicest blessings up on all of you people and all the members of your great families, for the most pain staking efforts, single-handedly, made to achieve so many benefits for the gullible bank retirees.

With all your wisdom and intelligence and noble hearts, may I request you kindly to keep good rapport with UFBU conveners, i.e.,  AIBOC leadership and work hard towards the goal of sitting across the table with IBA on behalf of 'gullible' bank retirees. Days are not too far off for AIBRF leadership to be convener on behalf of all the bank retirees' groups. Because, you people are aware of intricacies of fighting out court cases most successfully, strong zeal to fight out for the retirees' welfare, with no power so far, unlike UFBU leadership and wide and deep knowledge of officers' service regulations.

AIBOC leading and becoming convener of UFBU's groups is hopefully more enlightened and successful in getting further benefits not only for the existing employees, but also for the retirees as a whole.
May I request the "court birds' in AIBRF kindly to work hard still further diverting all Ur expertise "just to sit across the table with IBA with more wisdom and maturity of approach."
I am happy to note the strong and deep vision of conveners/owners of this google group for achieving the success and I get phones from all over the globe asking for clarification of their doubts. I simply ask them to shoot a question on this most enlightened group.

May I request Mr.Venugopal Cheriyar, Director of SBH and Mr.Bajranglal Chouwdhary, Mr.C.Gangadhaer Yadav,  and all other sensitive but genius-noble hearts kindly to  rejoin this group and contribute Ur enlightened ideas for the welfare of all the gullible retirees.
We are the fading group by ageing process. Let us forget all our human egos and have the wisdom to help still more for the welfare of banks' retirees.

Dear Mr.Raja Reddy,

As you are aware ,Finance Minister had decided in June 2012, to extend pension to Regional Rural Bank (RRB) staff at a par with the existing scheme available in the banking industry.

As per,  Mr Dilip Kumar Mukherjee, Secretary General, All-India Regional Rural Bank Employees’ Association (AIRRBEA), the draft pension scheme will have to  be prepared soon. For this purpose, the Department of Financial Services was considering various options to prepare the draft pension scheme for the RRB staff.

The draft scheme will then to  be sent to all the sponsor banks, State governments and RRBs to initiate discussions. It was expected   that,  final pension scheme can be circulated within two months.

However, later it was reported that ,Govt. of India is going to issue an order on pension parity with or without the scheme (draft or final) to NABARD. Probably GOI had changed its mind and GOI having exclusive power under Section-17 has discarded the idea of sending the draft scheme to RRBs/Sponsor Banks/ State Govt. and GOI has perhaps decided to get the draft scheme to be suggested by NABARD for finalization at the GOI level.

As per AIRRBEA, the Pension scheme is ready now  with NABARD,to be submitted to GOI by current month.

The entire banking fraternity is like a traditional Indian family!   When the breadwinner becomes old, he will be taken care of by the children  and all his requirements and needs are met and he is allowed to live a comfortable and peaceful life!   I am sure our parent(?) organisation is aware of all the needs of  their parent (AIRBF) organisation and will leave no stone unturned in achieving our demands!   Wishing UBFU all the BEST!

Dear Sir,

I'm A. Natarajan, came out of Bank of India on 08-05-2010 on VRS
as a senior Scale II Officer.  The revised Gratuity (ceiling raised to Rs. 10 lakhs) came in to effect
from 24-05-2010. I lost a considerable amount.  I understand that for Central Govt employees
it was w.e.f 1-1-2006.  There are so many Bank's Retired Employees
Associations are coming up, discussed about various welfare measures
for Bank Retirees and I think none of the association is
interested in taking up this issue of claiming the benefit from a back date.
Can you guide me whether any retirees' association has taken up this
issue with the appropriate authorities.

With warm regards

natarajan a
