There are so many eligibility criteria rules and we (bank retirees)are not eligible for this scheme.

The inclusion of beneficiaries in the scheme is not through registration. Instead, it is based on information collated by the Socio-Economic Caste Census of 2011 (SECC 2011). It covers eight crore families in rural areas and two crore families in urban areas.

Individuals from the SC/ST category, household lacking a member aged above 16 earning incom exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakh, and those included in th PMJAY beneficiary roster are eligible to enroll in th Ayushman Yojana.

Shri Mohan is referring a scheme already in vogue. But the latest one covering all people aged above 70 years free of cost, was announced in the President 's address and it is an extension of the existing Ayushman PM's scheme.

Anyhow the picture will be clear when the budget is presented.

The card can be uploaded from ABHA app in registered mobile.

The procedure is very simple protected by OTP.

I have uploaded the card.

As per the govt plans the health scheme is FREE to all aged above 70 years irrespective of income and income criteria is applicable only to persons aged less than 70 years. Now the ceiling is ₹5 lakhs per family, likely to be increased to ₹ 10 lakhs.

Further details are awaited. May be announced in the ensuing budget.

So far it is not given effect.

Step by Step process for enrollment :

Log in to https://abha.abdm.gov.in. (If you want to do it thru Mobile App download ABHA App from Google Playstore).

Click on Aadhaar No. and provide Aadhaar No.

You will get an OTP. Enter the OTP and press NEXT.

Give your Aadhaar linked Mobile No. and verify it with OTP.

Give your Email address and verify it. Verification link will be sent to your email. Click the link  received in your email. 

Create your user ID (Minimum 8 character length)

Process over.

Download your ABHA ( Ayushman Bharat Health Account) card.

This is valid for panel of hospitals for treatment upto Rs 5 lacs.

Coverage details/ Terms and Conditions will be communicated shortly.

There was one limit in old ayushyaman card scheme that senior citizen should have not more than Rs.6,00,000/- annual income. On that rule,I and my wife both are having old ayushyaman card. I am Boi pensioner getting annual pension Rs.44,5000/-p.m. My question is this, whether, I should take out this more than 70 years senior citizen ayushyaman card now or not. Anybody can guide me.
