Mr. CHV deserves a big hand for his letter dt. 27.02.24 to IBA requesting inclusion of Private Bank Pensioners for ex-gratia. 

At the same time he should have written a letter to IBA for release of ex-gratia to pensioners as per formula agreed upon on 13.02.24 considering their age and financial condition.

Wage revision and updation of pension are inseparable and therefore ex gratia cannot be agreed and released earlier than bp agreement for wage revision.This is my personal view.

ONLY courts will solve the problem of updation to retirees not these 9 UNIONS. They are only for their posts and not trade union leaders It is the fate of bank employees in service and retirees.
