Dear Friends,

It does not matter that how you are using or what task you  are doing on your BB service. The thing only matters is that under which scheme it is registered at the time of its start. For details of broad band schemes please login to

http://www.bsnl.co.in/service/New_BB_postpaid.htm

You are at liberty to switch over to another scheme at any time, free of cost without assining any reason so it does not matter your previous plan is business plan or a home plan it can be changed now.

They will change your plan at the time you apply for 20% connection, if the 20% concession is not allowed in your existing plan. This concession will be in both rental and usage.

I am getting this concession since long time. My plan is BBrcombo-500 with unlimited usage. This plan has many other facilities like, No monthly rent on basic Phone, 100 extra free calls monthly and the highest speed upto 6GB download and normal speed after it. Actually I pay only Rs-276/-   per month(500 - 20%=400 - 50Phone rent =350 -100(100 additional free calls) =250X10.2%=25.50 Say total Rs-276/-)

A Copy of BSNL Order is attached

With Regards
B L Choudhary

Dear Mr. B.L.Choudhary,

Thanks for the info.

On googling, I find that the usage are limited in both BB Combo 500 and 500 +.

In Combo 500 , 1.5 GB usage free, 175 calls free and .60 paise for extra Mb.

In Combo 500+ ie. Rs. 600 plan, they provide 2.5 GB free usage, 250 free calls with 0.50 paise for extra MB.

Whereas you have mentioned that your plan BB Combo 500 comes with unlimited usage. I do not know of any recent developments. Kindly clarify.

Dear Sir,

The plan "BBrcombo-500 " is applicable in rural areas only. In this plan some more facilities like free Modem and free installation are also available. A similar plan in urban and metro areas has also been introduced with 100 or 150 Rupees extra charge and without free modem. You can contact your BSNL Office but it is sure that no service provider is providing the service, batter and with afaster speed than BSNL.

Dear Shri SSM,

You are at liberty to say it but my last four Years practical experience iis quite different. I did not face any problem. My son after trying Tata, Reliance and all other services at his residence switched over to BSNL Broad Band and now he is quite satisfied. All other service providers are depending on BSNL. The most important factor is that whatever BSNL earns is public earning and earning of others goes in the pocket of one indivisual or the other.

If you compare the speed and tarrif you will be surprised.
