India is celebrating "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" - 75 years of independence of India. As we celebrate this landmark occasion, it is the time to acknowledge the contributions of aged retirees and convey our gratitude towards their exceptional work, professionalism and commitment during the period of service in the Bank.

2. In view of the above, the Central Board in its meeting held on 21st June 2023, has approved the payment of one-time Ex-Gratia amount under "SBI SALUTE" to staff pensioners and family pensioners, who have completed / will be completing 75 years of age as on 31st August 2023. The payment of ex-gratia to our old age retirees is the part of celebration of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" as well as Bank's performance during financial year 2022-23.

Ex-gratia amount starts from 8000 to 96000 according to grades at the time of retirement.

PSU Bank Pensioners may expect ex gratia similar to SBI in the 100th year of Independence. Because IBA and UFBU need 25 years to calculate ex gratia.

This payment is to salute retirees who completed 75 years and more.Amounts range between 8000 and 120000.This is not ex-gratia or advance.
