Hi everybody

Though it is a delightful piece of news, I have to disappoint you: this is a fraud, as many of you would have guessed. My conclusion is based on the following:

(1) This is purported to be a clipping from a newspaper called 'THE Hindustan...'. I do not think there is any newspaper by that name. There is of course, one called 'Hindustan Times'.

(2) However, the masthead of 'Hindustan Times' is not at all like the one shown in the clipping. Compare this masthead with the one you can see at www.hindustantimes.com

(3) The font used by 'Hindustan Times' is much more modern and neat than what the clipping has. Compare this with the one you can see at the above website.

(4) Read the news item carefully. I do not think a self-respecting newspaper will make a silly mistakes like 'employyes', Modi Ji have', 'decided to brought', 

You too can create such misguiding reports by going to http://www.fodey.com. However, please do not play the cruel game of raising the hopes of a dejected lot and let them down.

I created a fake newspaper clipping created by me. I deliberately post-dated it, inserted an impossible eventuality reading as under:

Dear friends,

We have an impression that whatever that is published in Newspapers is completely factual.But it is not true.Many newspers are mouthpieces of various Industries and Vested Interests.They always try to mould public opinion in favour of their Industries and Interests.

I give one perfect example regarding operations done by Various surgeons.

We get frequent news about successful surgeries done by various hospitals.

One day they may do a complicated operation under certain ideal conditions and make it a grand success.Then a very wide publicity is given eulogising the virtues of the operations and Doctors.

After reading the news everybody thinks that that particular Hospital or surgeon is very competent.

But in fact apart from the competence of the surgeon ,the Basic Immunity of the patient plays a very Great role.Who is aware of this.Secondly similar operations done by the same surgeons in other cases might have become failures also.Are they publishing the same?When it is a success surgeon takes the credit.When it is a failure ,the blame goes to the patient.

Similarly when a student gets Top rank,the Institution takes the credit but when a student fails the blame goes to the student.The role of the Institution is only partial.

There is a lot of misuse going on in indiscriminate sale and use of medicines in India whereas such medicines were banned abroad many decades back.How many newspapers have raised any voice against such misuse.They don't do it.Because The pharma Industry is a very big lobby which has the most powerful lobby that has the capacity to influence or dictate the Govts of many developing countries.Latest example is that govt backed out of a proposal to control the prices of drugs of US MNCs ,manufacturing anti cancer drugs.A drug produced by them costs Rs 2 lakhs whereas a similar drug manufactured in India costs only Rs 20000.Govt does not have guts to control the MNCs.Alternatively it is planning to purchase and supply at subsidised rated in Govt hospitals etc.All this is happening on the eve of visit of Modi to USA.

I will not be surprised after 10 years,the latest studies may prove that the same drugs are causing serious side effects and may recommend for banning of the same drugs.

Govt has all the resources and mindset to incur such wasteful expenditure in favour of MNCs but no money to improve por,pensioners or Indigenous systems of medicine.

All govts are slaves of this perverted priority.
