Dear Shri Mohan ji,

On 11/6/25, you had posted a communication of even date wherein it was mentioned that their office bearers'
meeting scheduled for 18, 19/6 was being postponed to 26, 27/6 as they (AIBRF) had received appointment from UFBU to meet their leaders on 18/6 to discuss the pending issues of pensioners.

It is not known if that meeting took place on 18/6 or not and if it indeed happened what was the outcome of the meeting.

Interestingly, the above communication 2025/50  dt 11/6/25 is not found in their website now and appears to have been removed.

Dear Shri Ramani Ji,

Though AIBRF had informed  vide their Cir.letter Ref No. 2025/0050 dated 11.06.2925,addressed to their office bearers stating  that UFBU leadership had invited them to “discuss some current pending issues of retirees including review of ex-gratia and non-payment of ex-gratia in private sector banks etc on 18th June’25, nothing has been found reported since then on this subject by them!
Regards

Dear Shri Mohan ji,

Thank you for your kind and quick response. Even though that was an internal communication addressed to the office bearers, nowadays, such communications too appear in social media. So, ordinary members would wish to know the further developments although technically they may not be entitled to know the information.

Looks like the AIBRF leaders were advised to continue to toe the same line of AIBEA and not get inclined to listen to BMS advice wherein BMS suggested that AIBPARC/ CBPRO a,AIBRF  to unite under one flag in order that they can achieve Pension Updation  and get grievances of Bank retirees resolved  also in coordination with BMS.

For the past few months UFBU has had no convenor and IBA itself is inviting constituents of UFBU separately for BPS meetings. So it is not clear which union invited AIBRF for discussions.
AIBRF has not uploaded a letter from UFBU inviting it for discussions.
Now UFBU is confined to a letter head only. Only AIBOC and AIBEA control proceedings.
Others are just tagging along as yes masters, otherwise they would be thrown out of BPS.  BEFI and AIBOA were kept out of BPS. once. AIBOA has to get back its right to participate in BPS by approaching courts.
UFBU has not taken up Updation, merger of DA, revision of Ex gratia issues with IBA and meekly accepting false claims of Sub judice. Recently the CJI of SC has issued directives to all lower courts to settle disputes through mediation. If the mediation fails, concerned parties have the right to continue their fight in courts.
While it is claiming Sub Judice is false and absurd.
For the past many years no union consulted Retirees associations and maintained that retirees should accept agreements signed by them, irrespective of whether it is beneficial to retirees or not and should not approach courts.
While it is so which union is taking extra interest to discuss issues that too only with AIBRF only.
AIBRF claim may be false or some union is manipulating things to disrupt unity among retiree associations.

If it is true AIBRF would have posted the developments of 18/6/2025 meeting with UFBU.

It is only to postpone the meeting under one pretext or the other.
