As far as Bank pensioners concerned Unions have agreed and signed settlements giving approval to such discrimination. Since Unions are representing pensioners it is understood that pensioners have agreed to such rules.

Judges seem to have accepted the IBA argument that while Central government pension is paid out of budget allocation, Bank pensioners pension is paid out of profits.
