IBA Group Medical Insurance Premium Debited but Policy Not Renewed

Dear Sir, 

I submitted for renewal of the IBA group medical insurance scheme through an online option last month. I see that the premium also got debited from my account, but to date, I've not received the policy documents from Raksha TPA. 

Last week I had to get admitted to a nearby hospital. When we tried to get the cashless claim, Raksha TPA informed us that the policy had lapsed and hadn't been renewed. This was shocking as we were under the impression that the policy had been renewed because the premium was debited. 

I wonder what is the point of renewing such policy which is not helping at critical moments.

Dear Mr. Prashanth,

You have not mentioned your bank's name.

Raksha TPA is for following banks.

Canara Bank ,Erstwhile State Bank of Hyderabad (LHO - Amaravathi) Erstwhile State Bank of Mysore (LHO - Bengaluru) Erstwhile State Bank of Travancore (LHO – TVM) 

Those who have subscribed/renewed IBA group Medi Insurance Policy / Top Up Policy  2023-24 have found  received E cards for both in most of the banks.

Learnt that link has been provided by respective TPAs to down load the E.cards.

I have provided the link provided by  TPA pertaining to Union Bank of India earlier under this forum.Some of our members too found posted such information with regard to  TPAs of different banks.

You may get in touch with your bank

 to sort out the matter.

Dear Mr. Mohan, Mr. Vasudevan, Mr. Kartik,
Thanks for your help.

I was able to get the e-card, thanks to the bank (Canara Bank).

I tried to get the claim reimbursement and sent the claim documents to the TPA (Raksha). But they rejected it saying hospitalization is for less than 24 hours. I had the domiciliary policy also, but they didn't even reimburse the tests/bills.
Also, please let me know the email id for the ombudsman.
