any body has any idea as to whether any private sector bank has paid the arrears so far.I am from federal bank and the bank informed me that they are not bound by the subject judgement as they are not a party to the case.they further informed me that they are making further scrutiny of the judgement and will inform their decision in due course. as per their mail dtd 09.06.2018

Earlier there was information that Canara Bank will credit arrears to day i.e. 11.06.2018. But now there are conflicting reports. One of the official in Pension Cell states that it may take another two days. Another report is that test run will completed on 12th June. There is possibility that some of the Banks may not able to credit arrears before 12th June dead line stipulated by SC. Any how clarification from AICBRF awaited.

Canara bank has credited today (11th jun)arrears differential arrears, commutation arrears and interest

[KSR]

BOB credited first batch on 7th June. It is being done in 3/4 different batches. However, difference of Commutation Value

with interest thereon is not paid. We are watching the situation for making efforts to get this difference also. 

Has any bank paid the Commutation difference? Please do update here about it.

Yes, it is the tradition of Canara Bank to pay last, in case of benefits payable  to the employee. It is now reported that there is some software issue. While all other banks did not have any issue, it is surprising for a bank, having plentiful of efficient soft ware personnel.

However we are at the mercy of the management and under this guise they may not be able to stick to the deadline. 

 

Only consolation is that it can be delayed but not denied once for all.

As we are accustomed to such forced delays, we are not at all perturbed.

I believe that no bank including Canara Bank has credited interest while making payment. May be if paid ,it is only till 2005.

Indian Bank credited arrears yesterday (11-6-2018). HO/HRM has updated system - branch can take printout of calculation sheet.

I donated Rs.3,000/- to All India Indian Bank Retirees Association and another Rs.3,000/- to Indian Bank Retired Staff Association, Gujarat Unit, where I served at the time of VRS 2000. After all, v should do our mite to strengthen the financial power of our association who active members spare their valuable leisure hours while majority sit on rocking chair

No sir, you are wrong. Central bank credited on 1st June and on 2nd issued a circular saying calculations are wrong in many cases and hence the amount should not be credited till reworking is done. It is yet to credit correct amount. In done cases for scale 3 officers retired in 2001, they have credited 20000.00!

We cogratulate SriC .N.Prasad theG S ofESBM commune who got the wrong caluculations of Sbi rectified and 1684 pension arrears paid today.Still 5 years benefit and commutation issue is pending and an action plan to get Supreme courtorder fully implimented Will be decided ln commune meeting to be held on 13th .We stand by our commune at all times and fully endorse the decision that Will be taken to achieve the justice as per S C order.

It is so so sad that Indian Bank has not paid even pension arrears to those retirees from 01/11/2002 to 30/04/2005.Their Retiree forum also has not taken up and helped the retirees.

Indian Bank has after obtaining an undertaking (usual) letter has given
credit the arrears of Pension from 11.06.2018. The branches
are advised to obtain a Letter of Undertaking and make the payment
which has been sent by C2C to the home branches of the Pensioner.

There is no uniformity in calculation of arrears and payment of differential commutation and interest.  IBA should issue clear instructions to all banks. Our association leaders should take up the matter with one to resolve the confusion.
