Senior citizens + staff rate of interest for term deposits

Do any one have the consolidated position of payment of interest both for senior citizes (.5% above normal rates) and for staff (1% above normal rates) together for ex-employess who are senior citizens.  I understand canara bank does not pay, but some banks are paying.

state bank of india is paying 1.5% above normal rates for senior citizens staff.

Yes, Indian Overseas bank pays 1% more interest for ex-staff + 0.75%
for ex-staff senior citizens.

Indian Bank pays such increased rate of interest to senior citizens who are retired staff.

Pl visit the website www.canarabank.com and headers in the right corner 'Interest Rates'. Click it.and click Int on deposits in RBI format; you will find the table. Senior-citizens get 0.5% more than the public for all maturities.( For staff and ex-staff 1%higher. For senior-citizen-exstaff it is 1.5% more for deposits of 5years and above.Pl contact your Br for any further clarification).

Bank of India is paying 0.5% plus 1% (staff rate) for senior citizen retired employees which makes it to 1.5% in total.

Sir,  Only one benefit is available  either  regular interest plus senior
         citizen benefit  or  rregular interest and prefferential  1% interest
          as staff  or ex staff   No  benefit of double benefit

Dear Sir,

All the retired staff members, in their own interest are requested to check their deposits accounts as to whether correct ROI is paid as applicable for senior citizens and staff members.
Our bank pays ROI as per Senior Citizen + staff rate.

Yes.In the bank where i was employed( Indian bank ), they pay staff rate of 1% and senior citizen rate of extra .75% over and above the general rate for retired staff who are above 60 years.

Indian Bank pays0.75% extra for senior citizen staff + 1% extra rate for Staff including all retired staff both under VRS and normal retirement,thus making it 1.75% extra.

I checked the site as well as branch- I was informed that only one speical rate would be made applicable either sr citizen or staff and hence I have to opt for staff which is certainly more - but all other banks are paying and this is something a wonder for me.

Bank of india is paying up to1.8%(for deposit more than 5years)to ex staff/senior citz.over and above normal rate of interest.

Canara bank do pay interest to retired senior citizen staff as
applicable to senior citizen plus 1% extra for staff.
