Form 15 H for fin year 25/26

Friend. I have submitted form 15  H for No TDS from interest on Deposit in Bank Of India.  But i am informed that since interest income exceeds 3 lacs per year, 15H cannot be loaded . Till last year this problem did not arise. The system calculates the interest amount and does not allow to change it. I hav sent clarification on it to higher authorities but no reply for the last two days.  Whether IT has issued any circular on this subject  , I donot know.  I wish  any friend comes across such problem in other bank. If so, any reason.  Will be glad to hear .

For FY 2025-26,  15H can be loaded  for interest income up to ₹4 lacs.

I faced the same problem with SBI  last year and don't know whether the problem still exists or not. I faced no such problems with UCO Bank ever.

I am a Canara Bank pensioner. When I try submitting 15H through Net banking, it is observed that if the Total projected income from all sources is declared to be below ₹12 lakhs, the system accepts 15H. 

I don't know, if the system in your bank is designed differently. Perhaps, it takes into account your pension income, and income from sources other than interest income as declared by you, and calculates that  the interest income should not exceed ₹3 lakhs so that total falls below ₹12 lakhs.

Bank of Baroda already issued circular that senior citizens can submit 15H if the total income is below 12 lakhs
