Mr.Suman,
Past 10 months average is salary is calculated prior to date of retirement ie;

7th July 2006

Full past 10 months salary from Sept'05  up to June'2006

Dear Mr.Mohan
Thanks for your response to mr.Suman`s email. But, pnb form says <quote>"details of pay during last 10 months of service (including month of cessation (regulation 38)] quote> and the form has provisions for 10 months entry only.

From this it seems 10-month period ends with 7 July 2006 .

Could you please clarify this confusion.?
Thanks and regards,

Mr Visvam,
Pension consists of two things mainly.ie: Basic Pension and applicable DR there on.DR too varies.
DR calculators are available here and elsewhere right now. However for arriving Basic Pension, individual retirees average last ten months Pay prior to retirement  is required. This varies from person to person. So a comprehensive pension calculator  may not be available to suit individual requirement.

Dear Friends,
Did any resignee already receive PPO or aware of pension amount payable to him/her.  If so, please share details , including following aspects:

(1) is ex-gratia amount included.
(2) is addition of 5 years to qualifying service applied
(3) is 100% DA neutralization applied in case of pre-2002 resignees.

Thank you very much in advance,
RamS

Sir,
I am of the opinion that Let the bank take care of it. You just submit your request with documents that are needed by the bank.
Bank will figure out how much they will be paying you  pension benefit. AS far as I understand, there is no calculator to arrive at any number. It will all be based on your Basic pay and number of years of service.
I had 18 years of service when I resigned and may not be considered eligible for benefit to resignees. Initially , it was notified that employees with 10 years or over, who are otherwise eligible ,will be able to opt for pension benefits as decided, agreed and approved. Hopefully, our leaders can fight to address this anomaly and injustice.

You can make a formula each bipartite wise by paying DR for Re 1/- so that each Retiree can calculate their pension after arriving at basic pension

Dear Sharmaji,

First, thanks for your response Sharmaji.  In the light of broad scope of MOU, My concern is about the interpretations of the MOU based on Pension Regulation.
That's why I want to see if all banks calculate basic pension, DR and exgratia amounts consistently as far as the provisions of the Regulation. I know actual amounts from person to person.
Thanks and regards,

Dear Mr Pathak,
Namashkar.

Pension for resignees is a great achievement and your hard work is a blessing to resignees.
In your expert opinion, can you please share your thoughts on following benefits:
1.  Monthly exgratia payment to eligible resignees
2.  Addition of 5 years to qualified service for purpose of basic pension calculation for eligible resignees.

If my thinking is correct, some banks may be waiting for clarifications on these benefits from IBA.
MOU / 12 BPS clearly mentioned the benefits that are excluded.  Logically speaking, all other benefits that retirees enjoy now should be included for resignee-pensioners.

If possible, please try to get clarifications so resignee-pensioners get the benefit without litigations and delay.

Thanks and regards,
