Dear Shri Yadav and Shri NT Hegde,

Good morning. Keeping Ur capabilities, talents, sacrifices made, committed concern for the welfare of all the Syndicate bank employees [both existing as well as the retired], I write as follows--------------

The HO circular prescribed cumbersome procedure to claim it.

 

1. It is a waste of man power, paper, printing for the privileged retirees to make a representation to branches, the branches to forward, RO/ZO/HO to peruse each and every claim form and then credit to the pension account of all the eligible claimants.
2. All the II option pension optees, I being one of them, are highly appreciative of efforts of SBOA-AIBOC-UFBU in X BPS and lead a secured and respectful in this fag-end of life.
3. We thank all the leaders of SBOA/SBEU and UFBU.
4. If the benevolent dictator  and most enlightened Management of Syndicate bank is prevailed upon to do away with procedural wrangles and arrange to credit gratuity arrears to us under advice to all the retirees-----through the respective branch--------------it shall add to the good will of Syndicate bank, both existing staff as well as all the eligible retirees/pensioners. The manpower can be utilized elsewhere for further progress of the Bank.
5. Both of U can help all our Bank’s retirees with Ur combined wisdom and good rapport with SBEU leadership.
6. We the retirees, some  can't even put the signatures properly. Nor they are aware of their eligible benefits.

I am following all your mails. Thanks for writing a very relevant request to the union/association.

While all the information is available with the banks PD, insisting for submission of request to branch, where staff may have to spend a lot of time and energy to trace the records of persons who retired TEN OR ELEVEN YEARS AGO, and nobody may  be interested in tracing them also. Further , the branches will say that let ROs take up the matter and ROs will say that they have not received recommendation from the branch. 

ALL THE RELEVANT INFORMATION AS  TO HOW MUCH GRATUITY WAS PAID TO EACH EMPLOYEE,  WHAT WILL BE THE GRATUITY PAYABLE AS PER RECENT GUIDELINES, HOW MUCH MORE IS TO BE PAID, THE DETAILS OF THE EMPLOYEE, HIS PENSION FILE NUMBER, ACCOUNT NUMBER ETC ARE AVAILABLE AT HEAD OFFICE PD. HENCE IT WILL BE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR HO PD TO TAKE UP THE MATTER,, CALCULATE AND SEND ARREARS TO THE EMPLOYEES UNDER INTIMATION TO THEM .

AS YOU HAVE REQUESTED IT IS FOR OUR ASSOCIATION TO TAKE UP THE MATTER. 

I HAVE SENT EMAIL TO THE RO WHICH IS IN CONTROL OF THE BR WHERE I WORKED LAST AND ALSO TO HO PD, BUT TILL DATE NOT EVEN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IS SENT. HENCE UNLESS IT IS TAKEN UP AT THE TOP LEVEL, NOTHING WILL MOVE, UNLESS WE MOVE COURT AGAIN FOR THIS PURPOSE.

We have rather succeeded in proving ourselves to be a 'spentforce' (courtesy:Dhananjaya Bhupathiji) by remaining idle in spread over pockets, instead of organising.I repeat my earlier observation, about 25%(or less than that?) of the bank retirees are organised.We go on finding fault with IBA, MOF etc.There is an estimate of 6 lacs bank retirees in the country.Some 60000-75000 people come under AIBRF banner.About 1lac or so- retirees from SBI/ a few associate banks) SEEM to come under AIBPARC.(is it correct?)  A few others come under small local outfits here and there.How about the rest? If we organise the rest, we would become a force to reckon with.But who will do it?Could we think of these things while finding fault with all others except ourselves?

good afternoon. I told more than 50 retirees from our Syndicate bank to join bank's retiree group. Only 3 retirees joined. I handed over 35 membership forms along with a well drafted letter to claim Gratuity arrears from our Bank. Only 10 retirees submitted the claim forms and none evinced any interest to join. As U said, 10% retirees joined out of 6 lac retirees. I am very much disheartened to note the response of retirees in our Bank. How ever, my efforts shall continue.

Dear Mr.Nair,

Federation of SBI Pensioners Association is not a part of AIBPARC.  UFBRO (AIBRF + RBONC) is coordinating with FSBIPA.  Shri P P S Murthy, General Secretary of the Federation also participated in AIBRF Central Committee meeting at Mangalore and I am also in touch with him, relating to Associate Bank issues.  I also understand that the Federation has also communicated in this regard to 14 Associations (each in 14 Circles).  If anybody is spreading the message that SBI Federation is a part of AIBPARC, is simply misinformation and misguidance. In fact, Federation feels cheated because of distribution of balancing load among serving employees.

Dear friends I want to know the entitlement of the pensioners office
bearer/ entitlement for the travelling and boarding/ as per in our
Chandigarg circle , the President/ General Secretary without any
resolution, attend the meetings of the association/ federation by Air,
when the pensioners association is a social organisation, and all this
is not payable, only the Bus fare/ third A.C.fare is payable,,social
organisations are not in a position to pay the travelling expences by
AIR. please advise/ give your comments to update the matter for
pensioners intrest . thanks.
