There was a mistake in DA calculator program for retirement date between  01/04/1998 to 31/10/2002 .The mistake  is now rectified.
After invoking DA calculator internet browser may have to  be refreshed, for running rectified program.

Dear Friends,

Thanks for the updating. But, for those who retired during 01.04.98 to 31.10.2002, it shows a slightly wrong figure for the 1115 slabs.

For example, for a basic pension of Rs.7,707 it shows the revised DA as Rs.15,785.60 instead of the correct figure Rs.15,799.77.

   Today I recd Pension credit message from my Bank (Canara Bank) which seems to be wrong. I recd the message of credit pension of same amount as that of last month.  No hiked DA is added .

Dear Mr Suresh Bhat,

                                           The hike in DA is w.e.f February 2016 and the increase on account of that will be reflected in your Pension for the month of February only, which will be paid on or after 1st March 2016.( Or as per your banks usual schedule).What you have received now is monthly pension for January'16. 

                                           Half yearly DA to bank Pensioners are given effective  from  a) 1st  February to 31st  July and b) 1st August to 31 Jan each year.

The increased DA will be reflected only from Feb Pension payable on 1/3/2016.

Increase in DA wef 01.02.2016 is payable on 01.03.2016. In other words, increase / decrease in DA is effected on 1st March and September every year.

The increased Dearness Relief of 62Slabs is (applicable for the 6 months period from Feb16 to July16) payable from February Pension to be credited on the First day of March.

 DR credited for the previous half-year (Feb15 to July15) can be compared!
