IBA.MEDI CLAIM INSURANCE. PHYSICAL ID CARDS TO ALL SUBSCRIBERS IN CANARA BANK

Dear Friends,

                             Often a lot of clarifications and doubts are found raised by the insured in different banks under IBA s new Medi Claim Insurance scheme,though detailed circulars are issued by respective banks as well as retirees organisations in each banks.

                             In the matter of downloading the E-Health card from the site of TPAs members might  have experienced difficulty especially those who are not well versed in online activities through computers.

                             Under this back ground the delivery of Health Cards by TPA directly to the insured under the new scheme,in  physical form is really much helpful

                             It is learnt that Canara Bank Retired Officers Association has taken up the above matter with their bank management 

to take up further with TPA,for the benefit of insured.Other banks too can follow the same.

IBA MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME: TPA M/S.MEDIASSIST TO ISSUE PHYSICAL ID CARDS TO ALL SUBSCRIBERS

"Dear Friends,
We had taken up with the General Manager, HR Wing, HO Bangalore the issue of issuing physical Identity cards i.e. E card to all the retirees, as many retirees were finding it difficult to download the E-Cards put on the website of M/s. Mediassist. In fact many of our retired colleagues who are not computer savvy were agitated over this issue and were requesting us to arrange for issue of E Cards, the Claim forms & the list of net-work Hospitals. Due to our continuous persuasion with Management, The Bank took up the matter with TPA, M/S.MEDIASSIST INDIA TPA PVT LTD & succeeded in convincing TPA to issue individual E cards. We are extremely happy to inform you that M/s. Mediassist will commence issuing the physical Identity Cards i.e. E cards to all the retirees, including family pensioners who, have subscribed to the Policy. The Cards will be issued Circle-wise and the laminated Cards will be sent to the branch where the subscriber is drawing his pension. The Branches will take steps to deliver the ID Cards to the respective pensioners.
Friends, it is told that patience pays and our long wait for getting the physical Identity Cards, the claim forms and the brochure containing the net-work hospitals has materialised & this helps us to have easy access to the Hospitals in case of hospitalisation. Kindly wait for some more time for getting the E Cards.
