Dear Members,

Tamilnadu Bank Retirees Federation has convened the above meeting on 23rd September 2011 at Tirunelveli--venure Sakunthala International Hotel at 10.30 A/M..

TNBRF to be affliated to All India Bank Retirees'Federation. Their object is to get 1. 100% D.A.Neutralisation for pre 1.11.2002 retirees.2. Allocation of 2% profit of banks as welfare fund exclusively for retirees. 3.Uniform medical assistance and hospitalisation scheme for all the retirees. 4.Pension updation as well as improvements in family pension sscheme .

Members almost bank retirees (regular,vrs,svrs) are expecting the above 4 items. Now only an organisation AIBRF has comeforward/TNBRF representing nationalised/some nonnationalised bank retirees in tamilnadu and pondicherry decided to affliate with AIBRF. A good sign.

I earnestly appeal all bank retirees irrespective of cadrewise, to attend the above meeting and make the organisation a vociforous one to take up the cause with right forums in right spirit to attain the goal for all Retirees.(regular,superannuation,vrs, svrs). There should not be any discrimination which will spoil the very essence.

Thanks for your immediate response. The meeting went off nicely. TBRF presided the meeting. The measures taken by the organisation eloberated. A glimpse: 100% neutrialisation and updation of pension prior to 1.11.2002 retirees issues were already takenup through Parliamentary grevancies cell. At the instance of Dr.Sudharsana Nachiappan, M.P. Our Retirees association have attended the meeting called for by IBA . Our Association pined up hopes to achieve things without moving for a court through meaningful dialogue with IBA. Next comeup uniform medical aid and health care to all the retirees. Any one of the 3 days i.e.9,10 or 11th November, 2011, ABRF meeting is slated at Chennai. Spread up the message.

Members were allowed to share their views. Most of them touched medical benefit to be extended to all. No discrimination to be shown among the retirees. To strengthen the organisation under one umbrella i.e. under ABRF, speed up membership drive advocated.

A nice lunch was arranged by IOB Federation. Ends well. Strong unity award great reward.

Please advise me how to be the member of your group. so that I shall do the needful .I mean that of ABRF. I am new to this pensioners group. My case is pending in high court since 2003. I was sick and forced to remain absent since 19.091995.onward. I had joined bank on 01.01.1973 and asked for VR on 18.07.1998 on medical ground , and worked till 18.09.1995 Please advise necessary things to achieve good results.With regards.
