Serving employees alone are in a better position to understand the difficulties faced by other employees. Therefore, the membership of any union should be restricted only to the ser

IF CHENNAI HIGH COURT PASSED SUCH A JUDGEMENT THEN IT IS A LANDMARK ONE AND THE UNSCRUPULOUS TRADE
UNION LEADERS/POLITICIANS & EX-EMPLOYEES WHO FOR THEIR PERSONAL INTERESTS & GAINS CLINCH TO THE POSTS
OF UNION LEADERSHIPS EVEN AFTER RETIREMENT. IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY UFBU/AIBEA AND ALMOST ALL THE BANKS
UNIONS LEADERSHIPS ARE FROM THOSE BANKS RETIRED LEADERS WHO RECEIVE FABULOUS AMOUNT OF MONTHLY
REMUNERATIONS- MORE THAN RUPEES ONE LAC MONTHLY BESIDE OTHER PERKS SEVERAL TIMES MORE THAN THEIR
MONTHLY PENSION. FURTHER, THESE UNION LEADERS ARE ALSO MISUTILISING THEIR POSITIONS AND INFLUENCING THE
BANKS AUTHORITIES TO SANCTION BIG FINANCES TO THE UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS PEOPLE/HOUSES. ACCORDING TO
AUTHENTIC INFORMATIONS FURNISHED BY THE PSU BANKS PENSIONERS FORUM OUT OF TOTAL BANKS NPA OF ABOUT Rs.9
LACS CRORES INVOLVEMENTS OF THESE BANKS UNION LEADERS DIRECTLY/INDIRECTLY HAVE BEEN DETECTED IN MORE
THAN Rs.3.5 LACS CRORES. SEVERAL AIBEA LEADERS INVOLVEMENT HAVE ALSO BEEN DETECTED IN THE FORGERIES
COMMITTED BY NIRAV MODI/MEHUL CHOKSEY. UFBU & AIBEA LEADERS HAVE TAKEN SOME OF THE IBA OFFICIALS ALSO
WITH THEM IN THEIR BANKS MONEY LAUNDERING ACTIVITIES.MOST OF THESE UNION LEADERS HAVING BLESSINGS FROM
MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT/INFLUENTIAL POLITICAL LEADERS AND DO NOT BOTHER FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES. THEY HAVE
AMASSED CRORES OF RUPEES AND MANY HAVE BUILT LUCRATIVE BUSINESS EMPIRES USING THEIR ILLEGAL & UNHOLY
ALLIANCES. IT IS HIGH TIME WE THE RETIREES SHOULD EXPOSE THE LEADERS UGLY MUSKS AND INSIST STERN LEGAL
ACTION AGAINST THESE UNSCRUPULOUS BANKS UNION LEADERS.

This  is very old decision and I think the leaders and the Management obtained a stay order and appealed to Supreme Court. The game goes on while the employees suffer.

Union leaders are  same as Political leaders. Once they taster power do not give up easily unless forced by court.
Both IBA and UFBU are practicing double standards.
They often abuse retirees for going to court. But same leaders approached courts to get stay for above HC decision to save their positions.
When Banks refused to give mandate they shout that their trade union rights/privileges being curtailed.
But they did  not think twice surrendering Statutory rights of pensioners by signing Record Note.
They claim going to court will hamper negotiations of Pensioners issues though no court has barred them from negotiating issues.
But in case of Bank mergers they file WP in court and also simultaneously negotiate issue with govt.
IBA also same. At the drop of a hat IBa cry sub -Judice.  But when Consumer court gave verdict against it, IBA not only appealed against it in HC but also prominently displayed it in its website.
And in every case where HC gave verdicts favourable to pensioners IBA dragged the case to SC.
