AICPIN-IW (2016=100)FOR DECEMBER 2022 – 62 SLABS INCREASE

ALL INDIA CONSUMER PRICE INDEX NUMBER FOR INDUSTRIAL WORKERS (AICPIN-IW) 2016=100,FOR DEC 2022  ________________________________________

As per release made by Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour and Employment,Govt..of India,today the All India Consumer Price Index Numbers,for industrial workers,for December 2022  (AICPIN-IW) 2016 = 100  stood at 132.3 points, with a decrease of 0.2 points while compared to Nov '22 figures as follows:

    Base year 2016=100.     1960=100

Oct'22.  132.5.                  8710.36

Nov'22.  132.5.                  8710.36

Dec’22.   132.3.                  8697.21

 Thus the average index for the past quarter stood  at 8705 points.

Accordingly there will have 62 slabs increase in DR payable to bank pensioners for next half year,  w.e.f.1^st Feb’23 to 31^st July’23.
