RENEWAL PREMIUM ON IBA GROUP MEDI INSURANCE FOR 2022-23.

FOR INFORMATION:

As per Bank of India Circular, Renewal premium on IBA Group Medi Insurance policy for 2022-23 for retirees  is as follows:

"We have received a communication from Indian Barks Association vide ther letter No HRAIR/MBR/MEDINS/11501 dated 13.09.2022 informing that for the year 2022-23, National

Insurance Company Limited has been allotted the Group Medical Insurance Policy for the Retirees."

Can officers opt for lesser amount of cover with supertop up since the IT exemption is only 50000/- including health check up charges.

Dear Sri.Mathew,

Yes.Officers can opt for lesser amount of coverage under IBA Group Medi Insurance Scheme as per ones  affordability , from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.4 lakhs.

But,Super Top Up is only available for Retirees who take the highest 

amount of base policy (ie:Rs. 3.00 lakhs for Award staff and Rs 4.00 lakhs for Officer cadre)
