Vasanthji case judgement is on 6/7 th Sept. ordering to give first settle all pending issues before 12 th BPS. So NO talks on 12th BPS , till Govt give settlements to our issues

Finally what matters for serving employees is early conclusion of wage
negotiations and other service conditions with respectable increase in
salaries.
DFS is firm on completion of BPS before Dec 2023.
Further as regards Updation also there are possibilities of the issue being
resolved by next month.
Committee appointed to look into the Pension revision issues of SBI met on
07.07.23 and 26.07.23.
And in the meeting it was decided to seek views of IBA
IBA has already submitted its views.
And as per Court direction Committee has also discussed the issue with SBI
federation. Court directed the committee to take an independent decision
after hearing all parties. As all procedures completed now the issue is
with DFS. The issue is likely to be resolved any time.
Is there any attempt to sabotage Updation/early wage revision?
When wage revision and Updation are being resolved AIBEA has arranged a
series of agitations during Oct and Nov for issues which are totally
unrelated and irrelevant to Bank employees and Pensioners almost waging war

Now a days, every pensioners expectation on updation is raised, thanks to
the various posts of pensioners. Many pensioners still beleive that
updation may happen on the lines of RBI updation formula and a few advocate
that a diluted and truncated version may be adopted, considering the
financial burden. Many also aver some solutions should be found on special
allowances which doesn't form part of basic pension.Some have gone to the
extend of equating SBI pensioners with the public sector banks/erstwhile
associate banks pensioners and the benefit should be same for all. The only
bone of contention is when updation guidelines will be accepted by the
ministry and the date of implementation. Even the hard core pessimists do
not spew negative views like funds co straints,apathy of IBA and UFBU

The initial cheers brought by the news is slowly giving way to frustration
as it is not clear when concurrence of DFS would be received . Hope the

Your point is absolutely correct. Somany allowances bring somany
difficulties. All type of allowances irrespective of cadre should be
merged as one or to add with Basic Pay sothat they cannot escape Pension,
PF Gratuity benefits.

According to UFBU,the present exercise by high power committee is to find
out and rectify the grievances of sbi pensioners upto 7 th bps like full da
neutralisation,pension at 50 percent of basic pay and pension on pqa and
fpa.If they rectify the position in SBI,it will be applicable to all bank
retirees together.Updation is a common demand which is being addressed
seperately.Please correct me if I am wrong.

From the chart shiwing the due dates and actual dates of implementation of
respective BPS, we can notice that the dt of implementation is around 5 yrs
after previous BPS since 4th BPS. As per this, we can extrapolate that the
12th BPS would be signed some where in 2025. All due dates of BPSs are only
dates and has no literal significance for signing the BPSs.

I think that there are certain grammatical mistakes in the letter. Since
the letter is emanated from an all India organization, the person signing
the letter should thoroughly check before signing.
