ICICI Bank - Debit Card Annual Fee

ICICI Bank has charged me Rs 588.82 including GST towards Debit Card Annual Fee. It seems to be very much on high side. Is it so in respect of all so called high tech banks. Anybody has got such experience?

may more charges they have,cheque book issue charges,even you have sufficeint balance in your account and you are not operating your account,they will charge non operative cahrges,many more are there,now-a days same facilities in PSU banks but their charges far below the PVT banks and SBI

For credit cards, all Banks charge.

 

the amount may vary, but taxes are there .

I pay similar amount on my SBI credit card

every year.

THis depends upon the type of debit card you have and the type of account you have. There are free cards and there are paid cards. You must have opted for paid card with annual fee and higher priveleges.

Yes I also have paid Rs.590/- as annual fee. You can even talk to the ICICI Bank Phone banking officer to waive the fee by adjusting from your accrued Rewards Points.
