Dear Shri Varaprasad Garu,
There is no such order/ policy guidelines to grant additional pension to PSB pensioners  while completing age of 75 years as of now,  as provided to central Govt pensioners on attaining 80 yrs 90 yrs and up to 100 yrs with 20% to 100% additional pension.
For your information a copy of order issued by Ministry of Personnel PG and Pension,is furnished here under.
Banks like Union Bank of India is granting ₹5000 as one time ex-gratia to its  pensioners on completion of 75 yrs of age.
First let us look forward to updation of pension.
Regards
Mohan. P

On attaining age of

Additional quantum of pension

80 years

20% of basic pension

85 years

30% of basic pension

90 years

40% of basic pension

95 years

50% of basic pension

100 years

100% of basic pension

(5.1.32)

That is for government pensioners and not POOR bank pensioners.
For them also additional pension starts after 80 years.

Dear Shri Ramachandra Bella Ji,

Please note that, first of all the messages in social media  on reported merger of PNB and Canara Bank with SBI is a FAKE NEWS.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has already said that the government does not have any roadmap for mergers of public sector banks. However, a High-Level Committee on Banking for Viksit Bharat, proposed in the Budget 2026-27, will look into the topic and other aspects, she said.
In a changed scenario on arrival of  'AI' tools lot of posts under social media is created  with false information. No doubt, AI is good for all, if it is used for creative purposes.

Like special allowance it will not be a surprise if iBA and UFBU sign an agreement reducing the pension of retirees aged above 80-85-90-95-100.
