Smt. Nirmala Seetharaman
Honorable Finance Minister
Department of Financial Services Govt of India
Namaste Madam Ji
We would like to present before your good selves various issues in detail faced by the employees of public sector banks in India. We request you to consider these facts and take them to the best possible forum for getting a positive outcome.
We as a responsible trade union which believes in the ideology "Nation First, Organisation Next and Union Last" request your good office to take steps to
1. Conduct scientific study and frame rules regarding staff requirements of branches on war footing basis.
2. Initiate immediate & sufficient Recruitments to all Cadres.
3. Ensure payment of compensation to all cadres who work beyond the time stipulated as per bipartite.
4. Stop Outsourcing of All Job Categories.
5. Define and implement a Transparent Transfer policy. Also kindly ensure that seniority lists are published before every transfer season, which shall be based on the number of years of service, previous postings and physical conditions. Also intimation should be given to all staff members who are due for transfers and their preferred places of posting should be collected and kept on record.
6. Regularization of Temporary Peons/Part Time Sweeper and absorbing them as permanent employees in all banks. Also a specific Demand to release the list of candidates who were issued with Provisional appointment order by Vijaya Bank before merger with Bank of Baroda. As per information available with us Provisional appointment order of 190 peons and 226 PTS already issued by then Vijaya Bank in March 2019.
7. Demand to extend IR facilities to NOBW/BMS affiliates units in all the PSB.
8. We request you to speed up implementation of 5 Day banking which will in turn be a booster dose for better cash less economy.
9. Issues in IDBI Bank - Demand to release 23 months arrears of 9th BPS of IDBI employees. 23 months less arrears and fitment paid to eUWB STAFF in 2012-2017 bipartite. Original IDBI class 3/4 got 100% though amalgamation was completed in 2009. Also, Second option for pension was not given though 100% provisioning was made before merging with IDBI. In 2010 also when national level second option was given it was not given in IDBI
10. Pension Updation is a long pending issue and people who all along their active career had worked for the upliftment of the banking industry and economy of the nation are left in lurch. Immediate attention to this needs to be drawn.

11. Ensuring a guaranteed pension under NPS or reverting to OPS needs to be done in the general interest of all the bank employees.
We urge you to consider these in the better interest of our nation and our banking sector.
With greetings
