Your Request has been disposed of by this office.

What does it mean,

1.My appeal thrown into dustbin.

2.Reply to my appeal send by post.

3.Or forwarded to concern deptt.

Experts pl reply.

I hope that you have submitted application through RTI portal. If so, you can visit that  portal and click status. Details of disposal should be available.

I am regularly applying through RTI. To view the status of YOUR REQUEST OR APPEAL, the RTI Reference number and the email of the person who submitted the request or appeal is required. Everybody cannot just like that view the status, even if the RTI reference number is known

Appellate Authority must forward his order to petitioner. No other choice.

If order is not received by you, send a reminder that you have NOT received his response. Give30 days' notice and file an appeal in HC asking them to direct the appellate authority to decide issue within 3 weeks. I did that in my case and appellate authority suddenly found he had a duty to respond and did.

You could file second appeal and for this also there is no reply, file a complaint to CIC online. They have to reply.

My experience with RTO requests filed online is this:

Whiter it is first application or first appeal they have 30 days to reply.  If we file application on 1st April they have time till 30th April to reply. Though reply is negative they keep it pending and reply just 5 days before deadline so that reply reaches us by Reg post before 30th April.

They update reply online after deadline and before that website shows request disposed off.
