Dear Sirs,

We received Pension in our accounts on 2/4/2014 evening only, thus causing financial problems.

Dear Sir,
This sounds rather silly. Is a one day delay going to make all that difference? Well this situation of receiving pension credit on the 2nd of April every year on account of the annual closing of books of accounts on the previous day,is in vogue since many many years.
I think all this mail of on which date each bank has credited pension to their pensioners is unwarranted. So long as there is no undue delay in crediting of pension by the banks,it should be accepted without any hue and cry..
Regards
P.Ram

"Why this hue and cry" Please avoid making such statements. In Indian Bank pension was credited only during mid night of 2nd April.  No pensioner will go to ATM at that time.  Though they say it is credited on 2nd April, the Indian Bank Pensioners were able to get only on 3rd April 2014.  It is our right. We are not begging.  Those simply sitting in home may not bother about it.  The gentleman can rise his voice to credit the pension on the last day of month.  Due to the indefatigable struggles only we have got so many benefits in banking industry.  Our contribution to our institution is valuable.  If possible join hands with the stalwarts, who are still fighting  for our well-beings.  It is better to wait and see what they are going to do, rather than to discourage them.

Comradely Yours

Dear Sir,
I have some standing instructions on 1 and 2nd of every month, which cannot be executed due to delay in credit of pension. As such I had arranged for funds to meet them. Further in Indian Bank, debits/ standing instructions are first carried out and credits are given thereafter. This is what I meant by financial difficulties and if the bank can give credit first and take debits after inflow of funds, it will be better.

Regards,

S.Sugumar.

dear all,       The following is a way of expressing by one of our pensioner comrade; I also used to advice my friends do not visit the ATM's or the Bank before 4th of every month so that You need not get disappointed if it is not credited on 31st to 3rd,  But at the same time when ever there is delay whether it pertains to few branches or to all, I took up the matter relentlessly with authorities concerned to refrain from such delay.

This can not sound silly; If one day delay is not going to make all that difference why then the one day delay should be allowed; tell me;  Why don't you delay in crediting the salary by few days on account of Annual Closing;  Why don't you delay crediting interest on deposits for few days and stop allowing withdrawals from Casa for few days on account of closing?  If these cannot be why should pension alone be allowed to be delayed by one or two days?  Whether the delay is undue delay or otherwise is a relative term;  The pain and the suffering of an injury external or internal can only be felt/realized by  the injured and not by the onlookers.

Dear all
It will be a concern if pension is not being credited within reasonable time.
Once we know the trend of respective banks in affordingpension credit we
can plan all our payments.  I find that there is not much delay in giving pension credits - one or two days here or there as of last day of the month.
Mattter may be put to rest.
