As we are aware most of the Banks are also issuing Identity Cards to its pensioners ( Though some banks are issuing the same to pensioners on superannuation only ) and there may not be any uniformity as in the case of central Govt Pensioners. Different banks may be issuing ID cards in their own way with some details.

Here it can be seen that all necessary details  pertaining to a Govt Pensioner is incorporated under the new Plastic ID cards issued to Govt Pensioners.Banks too can follow the same if they wish.

Specimen of one of the PSB's  ID card is also furnished here under for just for information and comparison.

It is a good move.
But leaving it to the Bank's option is not correct. No bank will on its own issue, unless dictated by the higher ups. It should be uniformly implemented in all banks.

Dear Friends,
This is in reference to the issuance of Identity Cards by Indian Bank and State Bank of Travancore, I also refer to State Bank of Patiala, which too is issuing Identity Cards to all its retirees irrespective of the category.
In any case, it is good to share any type of information.
