RESTORATION OF COMMUTED PORTION OF PENSION

Dear friends, 

Many of our senior retirees  have exercised 2nd option of pension in the year 2010 and commutation amount was received by them  in Oct / Nov /Dec 2010.

As per Bank Employees Pension Regulations-1995,  the Commuted factor is restored after completion of 15 years. 

As the recovery period  is completed here  the basic pension should be restored now.

Learnt that Banks have already released  the revised basic pay (commuted) along with November pension to such retirees.May also do so along with pension for Dec'25 in related cases.

If any pensioner has not received commuted value after completion of 15 years, you may note to take up the matter  with your pension cell,HO.
