Thanks Somasekara for this useful information - they could also have
given download facility as well - possibly they will do it next time.

The website does not furnish the particulars of tax refunded, if any, to the pensioner and thus the necessity of issuance of F16.

Whether the print out can substitute Form 16 since IT is deducted. More over the link provided does not have any option to print other than screen print or cut and paste. Certain details like PPO no date of sanction etc which are not required. Please guide.

Earlier it was provided in www.canarabank.in now in canarabank.com.
However since they have not provided a separate page for pensioners, I
think this is only a temporary measure to avoid
many pensioners visiting pension fund office. Canara bank was
publishing a magazine called
VISHRANTI. which contained many useful news for pensioners including
revision of DA slabs etc. But unfortunately it was circulated amongst
existing employees who are not interested in it,
Better they publish the magazine online within the canara bank website
so that it benefits all pensioners.

As I had already said it was pubilshed by House magazine and library section at HO. During my service at Canara bank I had seen some magazines, I do not know whether  it is being published now or not. However my point is Canara bank must provide a space on  its website for pensioners to provide following  information.
Revision in DA.
Latest circulars regarding pensioners.
Date of disbursement of arrears if any.
Benefits provided b y bank to pensioners viz welfare measures
Space for interaction with pensioners to hear their grievances if any.
