regarding Alternate affordable bank retirees group insurance in respect of INDIAN BANK RETIREES(AP&TS)
the members of the group insurance has reached more than 300, .It may reach the magic figure of 500 shortly
the group insurance of Bank retirees shall consist of 100 to 150 members as per NEW INDIA ASSURANCE CO.LTD.
this is of NIA co.Ltd bank retirees group insurance policy NOW preferred by Bank retirees associations of
different Banks.The premium rates of IBA BANK RETIREES MEDICAL INSURANCE IS ON HIGHER SIDE.
SO, without waiting for any change in IBA  circulars, it may be considered to opt for the alternate, affordable group
insurance of bank retirees.Most of the members joining the IBRA (AP&TS) group insurance are from Indian Bank
and a few members are from other Bank Retirees.

Sir, I am from Indian Bank. For joining the alternate insurance group, please let me know how to apply & whom to contact. 
Further, there is a view that in case IBA group insurance terms & conditions  change favourably in future, we may not be readmitted, once we leave the IBA group insurance. What is your view?

Yes, this possibility is there. To avoid this situation my suggestion is members willing to go for alternative policy may split their required insurance. Insure for minimum Rs.1lac with IBA scheme and rest insure with alternative New India scheme.
